Each class will follow the step-by-step process:
1. They will concentrate on rendering the basic shapes of ice cream, fruits, animals etc. in line only, then proceed to discover the various relationships between the lines, shapes and proportions of the image.
2. They will learn to use a mixture of loose hatching and cross-hatching techniques to apply some dark tones in order to create the form of the cahracter.
3. They will modify the dark tones of the image by both strengthening and blending them with carefully graduated shading.
4. The final step will be to unify the form, tones and texture of the image by deepening the shadows and increasing their contrast.
Students will learn progressively to develop each sketch by concentrating on uniting the elements of line, shape, tone and texture. Once they built a solid foundation and keep practicing, they will be able to sketch a multitude of unique animal portraits and landscapes. Classes are highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas in a fun and upbeat environment.
