How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

This session is a fun way to introduce young kids to the beautiful super ancient art of Bharatanatyam ( bah-rut-naa-tee-yum), which is one of the seven classical dances of India. Knowledge regarding Bharatnatyam will be provided. In this class, we shall have fun while learning to express ourselves through hand gestures, facial expressions and foot movements. Your child will learn an unique way of expression and movement. Animals, expressions and energetic foot movements will make your child glimpse into the ancient world of Indian art. The class shall be taught following a tell and show methodology. Workshops will be taken on semiclassical and western for regular students.

Khushi PareKh is a Bharatnatyam dancer and an Indian classical dancer also a choreographer who hails from Nagpur. Initiated in this art form under the guidance of Guru Kalashiromani Smt. Meera Chandrasekaran. Her only ambition is to understand the core beauty of the art form. Her achievements are - 1)Arangetram in 2016 (Nagpur) 2)Passed Nritya Vishrad 3)Received Natyakeshi award (Solapur) 4) Received Nrityamani Samman 5)Felicitated with excellent contribution in choreography 6) Assisted guru by plying nattuvangam with eminent musicians and singers.
