In this flexible schedule version of this 4 session class learners will participate in an asynchronous session with paper, pencils, and pens in hand. Be ready to doodle! The teacher will provide a series of instructions, how-tos, prompts, and demonstrations for our materials and learners will create, share, and discuss the various techniques and their applications in other art.
During this ongoing class, students will learn how to create doodles with the realization that all doodles are actually a collection of basic shapes! So, as long as you can draw squares, circles, and triangles you can become a doodle master! Doodling can help you reconnect with your emotions. Regularly practicing doodling can keep you calm and generally improve your mood. Students will learn how this art form can be a meditative and calming process.
As the teacher, I will guide the students step-by-step through the doodling process and draw alongside them. Each time we meet, we will learn about new things to draw. We will have a theme each week that is voted on during class.
Peer feedback will be a part of this flexible schedule program and learners will be asked to share thoughts, drawings, and photos, in the classroom.
