In this ongoing four-week class, students will learn the fundamentals of composition and color, become familiar with some of the basic techniques and mechanics of Acrylic painting, and create beautiful paintings.

How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

In this ongoing art class, kids get together to practice acrylic painting skills while having interesting conversations. They follow along step by step to create a new masterpiece each week, then vote on the next painting. Come be creative!

Students will improve their understanding of basic painting techniques. Students will improve their understanding of different ways to use a brush when painting. Students will improve their understanding of patterns and symmetry. Students will improve their understanding of color blending and the use of shadows. Students will be able to discuss various subjects using knowledge and experience while respecting the viewpoints and input of others.

This class is a great way to learn more about painting with acrylic paint.
