A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Class Experience

In this Camp, students will learn how to successfully draw a girl in the anime style with step-by-step instructions. We will go over tips and tricks to achieve an authentic anime style drawing.

  • Day 1: I will give a brief introduction to anime and its history before starting with the shape of the face, we will then go over how to map out where all the features will go and how to draw the eyes, nose, mouth and hair in an easy and achievable way. We will go over different hairstyles you could add to future drawings. Students will also receive a brief overview of what the next 4 weeks will entail.
  • Day 2: Student will color in their anime face and be taught about different shading techniques and tips using different mediums such as markers and pencils. Students will also be taught how to 'ink' their drawings successfully and other ways we can effectively shade and color in our anime girl face.
  • Day 3: Students will learn how to draw an anime face, style human body with the correct proportions with step-by-step instructions. We will go over tips and tricks to map out the body so that we get all the proportions correct for our anime girl. Then we will go over a simple but effective way to draw in her body.
  • Day 4: Now students we will learn how to add clothing to our anime bodies that we drew in week 3, and I will go through a different selection of clothes that we can draw. Including a t-shirt, hoodie, jacket, trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses and shoes. Student are also encouraged to customize them as they wish and become anime fashion designers!
