How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

we will learn about how to create a mandala by using radial symmetry and repeating patterns, inspired by patterns found in nature. We will design our own "practice mandala" using the PDF template provided in the classroom. Please print this template and have it ready for class on the first day. At the end of class, we will prep for our final watercolor mandala by painting the background using the "wet on wet" technique with watercolors!
