How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Description

Class Experience

Mandalas have been used in personal growth throughout history. Mandalas are circular forms containing lines, patterns, and colors. Although there is no right or wrong way to make a mandala, oftentimes they begin with a large outer circle, and contain a dot in the middle, to represent the sun or the sky or the self. They may be divided into four equal parts, which range in representing the four cardinal directions, the four seasons, etc...

Mandalas, meaning "circles" in Sanskrit, are sacred symbols that are used for meditation, prayer, healing and art therapy. Drawing mandalas not only focus your attention but also allow you to express your creative side.Learners are free to use any shape or color they wish and to explore their creativity in a freeform way.

1.They help with balance.
2.They bring peace and tranquility.
3. Drawing them will give you a feeling of calmness.
4.They help with concentration.
5.They make it easier to be mindful.

Another thing thing they do is push aside thoughts and let your creativity flow.

I will guide learners to use the symmetry tool and demonstrate different tips for making mandala style patterns. As we finish up, I'll also give additional tips on adding gradient color as well. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, share their ideas and thoughts, interact with each other, and relax while we doodle mandalas.
