How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Description

Class Experience

I will be teaching the very first movements of the dance form called Bharatnatyam.

In the very first place, students will learn to do the Salutation part, which is called Namaskaram.

By doing so, the dancer asks Mother Earth for forgiveness for stomping on her. This is a ritual we always do before starting a dance session.

After the Namaskaram, students will be taught the basic foot movements called the Taatta Adavus.
