For the first 15 minutes, students will draw along with the instructor, drawing the image first before painting it. I will draw the step first, then the students will repeat. I will review all work via video display to ensure everyone has effectively completed the drawing before we move on to the painting. After the drawing, students will be instructed on how to paint the rendered picture. It will be handy for parents to have a hairdryer available to dry the paints as we paint. (Hair dryers are not necessary, but can be helpful) I am a laid back, yet structured teacher. I require that students listen attentively, follow along with the class instructions, and to silence their microphones. Students are allowed to raise their hands (via zoom) and are then invited to speak. Organized conversations via online communication improve communication within the session.
