How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

Children read the content of a similar book together. Find difficult words and their meanings. Answer the questions followed by the passage.

Children read the passage aloud shared on the Screen one by one, when one child is reading others listen carefully . The meanings of the difficult words are discussed as they come across while reading. Children jot down difficult words in their notebooks and form sentences with those words as their home assignment. After reading the whole passage , questions from the passage are asked and then the answers discussed in detail. This course helps in better understanding of the matter, fluent reading, fast decoding of the passage, enhancing vocabulary, improved speech.

Importance of Analytical Reading Skills

Analytical or crtitical reading means approaching any book with a grain of doubt to deal with given information on deductive or inductive methods. It is about a deep understanding of what is said and in what manner.

This method helps to grasp the means the author uses to reach a certain goal and provide insight into any type of writing. It is an active reading technique that requires a lot of patience and focus.

There are several approaches and startegies that can help achieve this goal. As in any analysis, a person needs to dissect the book up to components and make a conclusion based on it.

What can it help you with:

  • Develop critical thinking necessary in everyday life;
  • Help to study more efficiently as you will get a deeper understanding of what you are reading; 
  • Be more aware of any information you receive, whether it is news or academic research.
