Let's start at the very beginning. A very good place to start. When we read we begin with ABC. From week 1 your child will be introduced to a new phonics sound and they will be taken through the entire Jolly Phonics program. Learning of the sounds of the alphabet through music and actions, complemented by activities and craft, will take your child through the first steps of learning to read.
- Parents can use the weekly class as a base for further activities and consolidation, which in turn helps your child to confidently recognise every sound in the English language.
- Every week, add sounds to your charts and learn the formation of sounds in manuscript or cursive. Parent's please choose which way you prefer your child to write.
