How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

Description of the 7 Days Chess Camp:

 

Chess is a game with a lot of benefits such as developing patience, concentration, discipline, planning, decision making, mental exercise, and many more.

The course is designed for understanding chess history, its origin, benefits, and basics of chess in a fun and interactive way.

Also, we aim to create enthusiasm for chess learning among kids learning chess for the first time or new to chess.

 

This class will introduce them to the game of chess and help them learn the basic level game. Apart from introducing the chessboard, the moves of the chess pieces, the lessons will focus on:

 

1) Introduction to Chess: Its origin, history, and benefits of chess.

2) Chessmen names, values, and their powers

3) Basic chess rules and chessmen movement.

4) Check and 3 ways to get out a check.

5) Objective/Purpose of Game: What is Checkmate?

 

Outcomes/Objectives Of The Chess Camp :

 

After the camp, the students will be able to learn about concepts such as:-

-> Chess origin, history, and benefits of chess.

-> Chessmen names, values, and their movement.

-> Check,3 ways to get out of check & Checkmate.

-> Most importantly, the learner will develop a passion for learning chess.

 

Pre-Requisites :

This course is for complete Beginners or new to chess(Age group 5 to 9/new to chess)

I have 11 years of teaching experience and 6 years of teaching experience in chess coaching to young kids

All material and resources will be provided online.

Learners will not need any external resource

60 min (per session)

By the end of the camp, the students will be confident enough to play chess against other beginners.

No homework will be shared.

Students will increase their understanding of chess. They will know its origin, history, and benefits of chess.

Parents can join their wards in the session if needed.

And I believe in imparting chess knowledge where chess learning is fun and easy. I have more than 6 years of chess coaching experience. My real strength lies in, 1) Creating enthusiasm and love for chess. 2) Handling and teaching chess to young and hyperactive kids. 3) Developing patience and independent thinking in students. 4) Preparing chess students to become better at chess and perform better at competitive level tournaments.
