How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

“Chess is the gymnasium of the mind.” – Blaise Pascal

Chess is a fun game that is easy to learn but can take a lifetime to master. It teaches critical thinking, logic, problem-solving, patience, and mindfulness.

In this 10 sessions of summer camp, we will meet 2 times in a week to learn all you need to know to start playing and winning your first chess games. We will start from the very basics to form a strong foundation upon which to build upon. By the end of the course, students will have learned how to move pieces, and how to have good sportsmanship.

  • Different types of attacks and defense
  • Checkmate, Stalemate, Castle, Special pawns, and a few more
  • Two rook checkmates and queen rook checkmate
  • Force moves
  • They can learn from the Puzzle section and workout on how to execute moves in a theoretical position
  • About suitable online playing portals where one can practice chess
  • The learner will get one FREE session as a Bonus class.
