Chess is a fun game that is easy to learn but can take a lifetime to master. It teaches critical thinking, logic, problem-solving, patience, and mindfulness.
In this 10 sessions of summer camp, we will meet 2 times in a week to learn all you need to know to start playing and winning your first chess games. We will start from the very basics to form a strong foundation upon which to build upon. By the end of the course, students will have learned how to move pieces, and how to have good sportsmanship.
