How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Description

Class Experience

What would you create if you had an endless piece of paper? 

What would you draw if you had a pencil that never needed to be sharpened?

In this class we will explore the limitless possibilities of art and imagination through the miraculous world of drawing!

This is a freeform mentorship program in which children are allowed to come up with their own ideas for what they would like to draw in class. We will develop projects in class and children are allowed to conceive of their own projects every week. Children are permitted to make suggestions for topics they would like to see covered in class and everyone is allowed to progress at their own rate.

All students are encouraged to be active participants in class. The goal of this class is to create an environment where children learn from lessons as well as each other. The class primarily focuses on cartoon art but all interests are encouraged.
