How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

    I'll help them learn to read for the first time in a fun and engaging way using phonics, multi-sensory approaches, and games.

    Students will develop a deeper understanding of letter sounds, consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words, beginning sight words, and reading skills. Each live class is designed to be incredibly engaging and interactive for each student, providing many opportunities for different senses and kinesthetic body movements to ensure different areas of your child's brain is engaged in the learning process. This helps strengthen retention, long-term memory and sustains children's interest throughout class. High repetition and positive feedback is incorporated to each class meeting to help build student confidence and proficiency of the material. I will provide instruction utilizing pre-kindergarten and kindergarten sight words. Students will be supported and challenged by me throughout each class based on their individual needs. Although each student's needs are different, families should notice improvements in your child's reading abilities after just a few classes. Students that enroll should be able to correctly identify the name of at least 16 lowercase letters of the alphabet, but no previous CVC or sight word reading experience is necessary.
