How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Description

Class Experience

Ever wish you could learn to play piano or read music? Well, here's your chance! With beginner piano lessons, we start from the very beginning--the ABCs of music and learning the keys. We will introduce note reading and ear training in addition to the classical approach to learning piano. I like to ask my students what they hope to gain from piano--what type of music are you looking to play? What skills are you hoping to gain? While all students will learn the fundamentals, lessons are tailored to each child, their needs, and their hopes and comfort levels. Students can expect to have finger exercises, scales, music theory, and a song to work on each week. Because students will want to progress, it is imperative that they spend time outside of lessons practicing
