How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

The first lesson includes introduction to playing piano/keyboard such as how to sit at the piano, finger numbers, piano tones, and the keyboard. We will discuss right hand- and left-hand position, starting with the C position. We will discuss basic theory such as grand staff, time signature, rhythm, and repeat signs. Students will learn 5-finger warm-ups and basic chord structure. There will be an introduction to scales as well as broken and solid chords. I teach through the methods of Faber Piano Adventures and RCM; no books necessary, but sometimes helpful. Students will have an understanding of where middle C is on the piano as well as note recognition. Beginner students will learn how to play nursery rhymes and simple melodies from any beginner sheet music or books.  I like to keep my classes lighthearted. If there are any songs the student wishes to learn, we will have fun learning them. I look forward to making music with your child.

I'm a Pianist and right now I play piano in a five star hotel in Indore. I've learned various types genre in music like Rock, western classical, jazz, blues.

Keyboard (If keyboard are not available by student. So, we can keep class on virtual keyboard).

Nothing as such.

When you're playing the keyboard, you have to focus on the rhythm, pitch, tempo, note duration, and several other things. Even though you're doing something you actually enjoy, this is really a multi-level concentration exercise. Students will be able to play the instrument independently.

Will be informed in the classroom.

It will be assessed in the classroom by the teacher.

Please motivate them to practice more.
