How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Class Experience

Bonjour! My name is Roopa. I teach French language and help the learners to understand and memorize what they are learning.  The class is for children from 8 to 10 years old. All are welcome. No prior knowledge needed. Will read, listen to music videos, will sing along. The class is structured for four classes with new French things to learn in each class. I am a fun teacher, I have a lot of patience, and I like to encourage the students to speak. À bientôt!

Summary of the course:
*Introduction to the French Language. 

*We will learn the alphabet. How to pronounce the letters. The French alphabet song. We will learn how to greet and practical French vocabulary to know.

*Introduction to the letter I and U. How to read them in French words. Words with the sounds I and U. Review what we have learned already. 

*Introduction to the letter O and A. How to read them in French words. The Days of the Week.  Review what we have learned already. 

*The date of the Day. The Months of the Year. Sounds I-U, O-A. Review what we have learned already. 

*Introduction to the letter E and sounds for E, É, Ê, È. The numbers 1 -20. Counting by 10's up to 100. Review what we have learned already. 

*Introduction to the culture of France and its gastronomy.

The children will learn to introduce themselves and to say hello. 
They will learn the alphabet and how to pronounce the letters to introduce them to how to read in French.
They will learn the days of the week, the numbers, and the months of the year. 
They will learn to speak French with the proper intonation. 

There is no homework.

Have been teaching French to beginners.

The course material will be shared with the students on mail.

There is no external source required

Multiple Class: 2 weeks, twice a week, each day 2 hours.

Students will learn basics of French language like numbers, days of the week, months of the year, simple sentences, greetings with correct pronunciations. They will get to know about France, its culture, gastronomy and much more.

Homework will not be given

The progress will be assessed daily in the class.

I am passionate about teaching French to students of different age groups. My expertise is in teaching French language and Spoken French, using Direct Method(without using any other language as a medium). Teaching "Spoken French for Survival" for students, corporate employees & professionals traveling to French-speaking countries is my forte. I also train my students for International French Language proficiency examinations like A1, A2, etc. I have co-authored a Textbook of French language named "Jumelage" and a work-book for adult beginners. This book is widely used pan India by different institutes and universities. Being well-traveled and having great exposure to French culture, food & native people truly helps me to give my students great learning experience.
