students will learn how to introduce themselves in Hindi along with learning numbers 1 to 10 (Ek se Dus), 8 colors, 4 fruits, and learn to speak pronouns such as I, You, He and She in Hindi. We will be doing worksheets in class wherein students will write the words to better understand the pronunciation. This class will be discussion based and will be using pictures for better word/language recognition. We will be using English to support the students understanding of the language better. This class is a crash course and a good way of introducing the students to the language. Absolutely no prior knowledge of the language is required.
In this class, we will be learning basic words and phrases that we speak daily to help students communicate in Hindi. Each week we will choose a topic and learn things related to the topic.
By the end of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves to others, will have good command on Hindi vocabulary, ask and respond to simple questions, and carry on a basic conversation in Hindi.
