How does a Multi-Day Course work?

A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Longer courses create more opportunities: real-time activities, engaging projects, and interaction with diverse classmates from other states and countries.

Description

Class Experience

This is a beginner level French class and no prior French knowledge is needed. There will be target vocabulary words that we will be working on each class. At the beginning of every lesson, we will start by learning basic greetings so that the students can introduce themselves in French. We will then jump into a PowerPoint presentation where students will be introduced to the new topic through pictures and visuals.

Example - “Bonjour, je m’appelle ______.” (“Hello, My name is______.”)

  • Day 1: Basic Greetings. (French-Speaking Countries)
  • Day 2: Likes/Dislikes. 
  • Day 3: Describing your family. 
  • Day 4: Describing physical appearances. 
  • Day 5: Describing personality traits. 
  • Day 6: Days of the Week.
  • Day 7: Months of the Year.
  • Day 8: Dates and numbers 1-31.
