A Multi-Day Course meets multiple times over one or more weeks. Learners join the teacher in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Outside of these sessions, they can take part in a classroom discussion group and message the teacher directly. Description

Class Experience

Students will learn to communicate and read in Hindi. Focus will be on varnmala (vowels and consonants of Hindi)

  • Week 1: Introduction of Hindi vowels (swar) and learn the sounds, words that begin with these vowels.
  • Week 2: We will practice how to introduce ourselves in Hindi.
  • Week 3: Hindi consonants (vyanjan) and learn the words that begin with these consonants. We will practice talking about our likes and dislikes and our family in Hindi.
  • Week 4: Hindi accents (matra) and learn words that use the matra. We will practice talking about our neighbourhood in Hindi.
