Class Experience

This 1-day intensive course is for students who are interested in exploring the periodic table of elements and what makes up the different parts of our world.

I can certainly help the student learn the very basics of what is, why it's important and how to identify the elements on it. We will cover who created the periodic table and why it's important to use even in today's society.

We will cover the basic parts of an atom; protons, neutrons, and electrons, why those are important to the atom, and how we use the parts of an atom to find elements on the periodic table!

We will do a scavenger hunt with the elements so students can easily find them on the table. Students will be able to identify what rows and periods are and how they organize the periodic table. 

Mostly the syllabus of learning in this class will be categorized into the following structure.

  • Genesis of Periodic Classification
  • Modern Periodic Law and the present form of Periodic Table
  • Nomenclature Of Elements with Atomic Numbers > 100
  • Electronic Configurations
  • Periodic Trends in Properties of Elements.

I teach senior grade science as a passion, with a concentration on the periodic table. I feel comfortable with teaching it, as I have done so for years now. I will strictly focus on the facts of the periodic table and the very basics of it.

Students will know facts about the elements that make up our universe, and they will understand that the elements are the building blocks of existence.

A revision of the previous class will be done in the following day.
