Hello, this is a dance fitness class for kids. this class will be a combination of Yoga, ZUMBA & EXERCISE in a fun & interactive way to engage the kids in the clas actively.
Have you heard of Zumba? Exactly that but for kids instead. along with Zumba we will be learning Yoga postures as well. Let's dance to an original soundtrack that is age-appropriate. The class flows in 3 segments warm-up to loosen up, dance to easy choreography in a follow the leader fashion, and cool-down to stretch. I love energizing, motivating people of all ages and help them regain confidence in themselves. If you feel you don't have it, make sure you keep moving, the point is to get energized, not choreography. You are welcome to stop and drink water, just don't go and sit. If you get tired, walk in place so that your heart rate slows down a bit, then try to get back in it slowly. Join the fun and get ready to sweat!
This program uses music and movement to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skill development all masked behind a fun and engaging class. Be ready for your child to move, sing, dance, watch and listen.
Students will acquire knowledge and demonstrate skills to safely engage in physical activity. Students will learn intermediate postures and will develop strength, endurance, and increased flexibility.
