Class Experience
In this course, the student will learn the basics of Robotics, from how to glow an LED to Automatic Line Tracker robot. The course duration will be of 10 days/ 2 weeks, each class will be off 2 hours. In this total 20 hours the students will have a sound foundation over robotics & logical thinking concepts. The software we are going to teach is specialized for young learners with snap block features, so the students need not know any knowledge over programming.
This is a foundation course.
The syllabus that will be taught during the class:
DAY 1 : Intro about robotics with laws of robotics and what is a robot and what we going to learn in this course
DAY 2 : Intro to the software and some basic functions in S4A like the movement of the sprite.
DAY 3 : Snap4Arduino calculator Project/basic game
DAY 4 : Intro to hardware and how to connect the hardware to the software.
DAY 5 : How to glow a simple LED, Blink, and Buzzer
DAY 6 : Police siren, without and with LED; Mouse movement control in S4A
DAY 7 : Keyboard and Mouse Movement control LED and Buzzer, Musical Piano
DAY 8 : Working with sensors, Automatic streetlight, Burglar alarm
DAY 9 : Home automation
DAY 10 : Line follower, obstacle avoider.
IMPORTANT: Foundation course kit is needed & has to be purchased by the learner before the class.

There is no prerequisite for the students to know anything about robotics and programing language.
The syllabus that the students going to learn in these courses has been updated as the technology grows over time. The fundamental courses have been framed such that the student with no prior knowledge over the subject also can attend and can gain the knowledge from basic to intermediate level of those subject. The courses will be practical hands on sessions and it will be interactive only, so it will be not a traditional class. We followed this practice because the students will learn quickly and understand the concepts more effective than the traditional way.
