This is a special class designed to keep kids active, flexible, and engaged while staying at home. Children will be immersed in Yoga, meditation and exercise. Students will learn to move and relax their bodies and minds. Yoga poses and their benefits will be discussed.
We will learn specific yoga poses including yoga flows (sun salutations) and balance poses like tree pose and eagle pose. We will learn about meditation by engaging in brief, teacher-led meditations like Four Square Breathing and guided meditations that are guided by read-aloud short stories. This is an inclusive class and all aspects can be modified for your learner. Daily Agenda: Intention setting and greeting (5 minutes) Yoga sequence (20 minutes) Short story (10 minutes) Closing meditation (5 minutes)
