In this 45 minutes mathematics class, students will get an insight to a widely used concept in Trigonometry that will be illustrated through simple, fun examples!
Chapter 0: Introduction to Trigonometry
Trigonometric ratios of an acute angle of a right-angled triangle, proof of their existence, which should be well defined, values with proofs of the trigonometric ratios of 30 degrees, 45 degrees, and 60 degrees, and the relationships between the ratios.
Chapter 1: Trigonometric Identities
Proof and applications of the identity sin2A + cos2A = 1 and Only simple identities to be given.
Chapter 2: Heights and Distances: Angle of Elevation, Angle of Depression
Simple problems on heights and distances, problems should not involve more than two right triangles, and the angles of elevation and depression should be only 30 degrees, 45 degrees, and 60 degrees.
